Gorin Tennis Academy
Policies and Regulations |
- All tuitions are due in advance on or before the first day of every new session. A $3000.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve space in the Academy for the upcoming year.
- No refunds are provided during the school year for students taking time off to participate in tournaments. Coaching is provided at scheduled tournaments with no additional charge.
- No refunds are provided for students getting injured during the school year.
- A charge authorization form must be signed by all parents, and will be used for tuition fees not received as per the schedule of payments and/or to replenish the student's personal account each session.
- The full-time program runs from August to June totaling five sessions.
- Any additional costs incurred at the academy are billed directly to the student's personal account.

- Tuition is calculated on a session basis. Students who will be absent for the better part of a session are still responsible for the tuition. A student who wishes to suspend their tuition due to excessive absence but still wishes to attend the academy during that session, may do so. Their tuition will be calculated at the drop-in rate for all classes during that session. The drop-in rates are as follows:
- Weekend rates for students enrolled in the academy who attend two or more days a week will be charged $50.00 for morning class and $30.00 for afternoon class.
- Tuition is calculated on a per class basis. If a student arrives late to a class or leaves early, he/she will still be responsible for the full class price.
- Weekend attendance will be billed on a session basis and will be included on your current session invoice.
- Missed classes due to illness may be made up within an existing session (availability and space permitting). Classes missed due to rain will be rescheduled within the current session. During rainy season, any class that goes two or more hours will be considered a complete class.
- Make-ups will not be available for no-shows. A no-show is when a student fails to notify the academy of their absence at least one hour prior to the start of that day's class.

| Tournaments |
Traveling with the academy or with an academy coach to tournaments is $65.00 per day plus expenses. This is for all tournaments on the academy tournament travel schedule (a limited number of tournaments are scheduled in the boarding tuition). Parents traveling to tournaments with their children who wish to retain the services of attending Gorin Tennis Academy coaches will be responsible for the above-mentioned fees. Parents wishing to retain a Gorin Tennis Academy coach to supervise and travel with the player to tournaments other than those that the academy has planned will be responsible for all coaches' expenses in addition to a flat rate of $600.00 per week, or $200.00 per weekend. Travel rates have to be arranged in person. Please let the coaches know if you wish to retain their services before the day of the tournament.
| Gorin Tennis Academy reserves the right, at any time, to expel any student that contravenes with the overall integrity and quality of the program. |
